Strategic Plan

During the 2024 National Day of Racial Healing Dinner, attendees envisioned Battle Creek after 100 years without racism. Following that envisioning dinner we hosted Community Envisioning Sessions across the city, bringing together residents from diverse backgrounds to collaboratively imagine a racism-free future.

The shared visions revealed themes like equality, education, health, economic prosperity, cultural richness, and environmental sustainability, which now form the foundation of our new five-year strategic plan—a roadmap for justice, healing, and transformation in Battle Creek.
